Climate Check | Rulebook

The greenpass Climate Check Rulebook and checklist show the individual process steps and options of the Climate Check and serve as support for the input and successful use of the app.

Step-by-step guide

Below you will find a step-by-step explanation for the successful implementation of a greenpass Climate Check.

Climate Check

Follow the steps for conducting and obtaining the results of a Climate Check:
  1. Create a project
  2. Define a reference area
  3. Create a scenario

Checklist

Check if you meet the following points on the checklist before a check or if you are troubleshooting:
  1. Localization done: Address or GPS coordinates entered, selected or confirmed (after confirmation, the selection is visible in the address bar) and saved
  2. Reference area defined: Reference area defined and saved
  3. Scenario created: Scenario created
  4. All filled: All non-prefilled fields filled (>=0)
  5. 1+1 = 2: Sum of building + open space = reference area
  6. 100 = max. 100: Sum of green roof = max. building
  7. Positive preview: Green check mark for all categories

Rulebook

The Climate Check follows the following principles and rules:

WarningProject/address/GPS coordinates cannot be changed after check (Exception: Name + Photo)
WarningReference area cannot be changed after check
WarningScenario cannot be changed after check (Exception: Name + Description)
Alert
Reference area = building + open space (The available amount of open space is visible in the category heading. The sum of the building and open space must be 0 for a check to be valid!)
Alert
All fields not pre-filled require a value (If, for example, there are no trees, they should be entered as 0.)
IdeaScenarios can be easily cloned
Simply create new scenarios or clone existing ones with a click. Get the PRO package with unlimited* scenarios.
IdeaClimate risk = only with address
You can already check climate risks based on the address. For full climate protection, also enter the additional information for your project.
IdeaClimate risk + climate mitigation = address + reference area and categories building + energy
If necessary, you can also fill out and review only the climate mitigation or adaptation section individually. When reviewing the climate mitigation or climate change adaptation category, the Finance and Measures categories will be displayed.
IdeaClimate risk + climate mitigation + climate change adaptation = address + reference area and categories building greenery + open space + trees
Get full climate assurance including climate risk, climate protection, climate change adaptation, finance and measures.
Info
The preview at the end of the scenario input shows a green check mark for all or the corresponding categories if the input is successful
